Climate Friendly is a trusted leader in nature repair, helping shape how the market measures and delivers environmental outcomes. We partner with land managers to restore, maintain, improve, and protect ecosystems, including projects focused on threatened species, habitat condition, and biodiversity outcomes. Our work enables participation in emerging and established markets, including offsets and nature‑based investment pathways.

Working alongside land managers and Traditional Custodians, we restore landscapes, protect wildlife, strengthen Country, and deliver lasting environmental outcomes that support resilient ecosystems and create productive land for future generations.

Koala Friendly Carbon is one of our large‑scale nature repair initiatives restoring critical habitat while permanently storing carbon in new native forests.

Delivered by Climate Friendly in partnership with WWF‑Australia, the initiative protects east‑coast koalas from extinction by restoring connected, resilient habitat across privately owned land.

We work alongside land managers, First Nations groups, and local communities to restore habitat for koalas and other threatened species, generating high‑integrity Australian Carbon Credit Units that make large‑scale nature repair financially viable.

To date, more than 500,000 native food and habitat trees have been planted across 764 hectares of previously cleared land in New South Wales.

Our ambition is to regenerate 10,000 hectares of koala habitat, storing up to 8 million tonnes of CO₂ in permanent forests.

The initiative is certified by Accounting for Nature and supported by the NSW Government, demonstrating strong environmental, social, and cultural integrity.
