The following information outlines the requirements set by Climate Friendly to display any of the following logos:

Climate Friendly™ Business or Climate Friendly™ Organisation
Climate Friendly™ Event
Taking Action With Climate Friendly™

Climate Friendly™ Business or Organisation

The top tier level of recognition for a business that has undertaken to offset the following emissions over an entire year is a Climate Friendly™ Business or Organisation. This means offsetting all of the emissions listed below:

Natural gas
LPG
Company fleet
Electricity
Air travel

Climate Friendly Organisation

Note: Where onsite waste disposal exists, this must be included in the minimum requirements

In addition to the emission sources listed above a Climate Friendly™ Business or Organisation may also have offset the following:

Couriers
Freight transport
Staff car reimbursement
Car rental
Taxis
Paper used
Off-site waste disposal

Climate Friendly™ Event

The top tier level of recognition for an event that has undertaken to offset emissions related to it and directly controlled by the event organisers is a Climate Friendly™ Event. This means offsetting all of the emissions listed below:

Electricity at venue
Electricity for accommodation*
Car use, Taxis, Coaches and Mini-bus
Couriers and Freight transport
Air travel*
Meals*
Paper consumption
Off-site waste disposal

In addition to the emission sources listed above a Climate Friendly™ Event may also have offset Emissions controlled by attendees**:
